We stayed here 3 1/2 years ago and the place was like a junk yard or a dump. Pulled in this afternoon and was surprised to see it has been cleaned up the junk RVs and cars are gone. No dogs or kids running wild and no people sitting outside staring at those coming in. I cannot say how bathrooms or laundry are as I don't use them. But I can tell you the dumpsters have been emptied recently and aren't stinky, however there still small pieces of broken glass around them. All in all if you just need a place for a night or two I'd recommend it.
We stopped for 2 nights so we could see Historic Fort Stockton, which is very interesting and worth visiting. This park has great WiFi, reliable 50amp service, and level dirt sites. No grass, or trees, lots of weeds. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It seems to have been a mobile home park at one time. For $20.00 it was worth the stop. Passport America member.
"The owner just purchased this park in August and is trying hard to get it fixed up so as to be a very nice park. We enjoyed visiting with him and he told us all the plans he has to make it better. He took us to our site and made sure the electric was good before he left us for the evening." - mgalex
"This park is undergoing some serious renovations. Apparently, the former owners really let it go badly. The new management was friendly on the phone and very helpful when we checked in." - SandyA
"Owner/Manager was very nice and helpful. Stayed open for us because we came in late. Very reasonable price. No trees or grass but plenty of room for overnight stays. The owner directed us to the spot and even helped us hook up. Enjoyed visiting with him. Thanks for the extra efforts you made." - JoAnn
"I've been here for 5 years, new management has made vast improvements and the staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are looking better, conveniently located, quiet atmosphere. - Jason
